On Duality | Optimism, Purity & Peace

#JournalingJuly - July 15th

Optimism, Purity & Peace. OPP.

Sometimes I am lead to consider that some well-intentioned or otherwise human beings, are disturbed by OPP in a place it seems it shouldn’t belong.

We’ve come to know this world with all of it’s joys, yes, though so too palpably aware of it’s  judgements, segregations, condemnations, evil-doings & despise.

There are many that demean women as sluts, therefore would be agitated by the sight of a sex-worker in a state of OPP. There are many that would cringe & writhe at the thought of a molester or rapist finding a state of OPP once again. There are some who are blind enough to condemn others for simply existing, with no past actions that would be considered real transgressions from almost any perspective. A woman in a state of OPP? What for? A Black person? Cut it out. A Mexican? Please.

You all know those in the world that I am referring to, unfortunately. Those who would ponder such confounding a question, “How could such a blissful state be allowed to those who have sullied our earthly experience?”

There are those who have protected their states of wonder & OPP, even amidst a tumultuous environment,  even enduring some transgressions, even with an experiential awareness of the evils of the earth.

Naivety is that which is perceived quite consistently as something that accompanies OPP. Such optimism? How naive can you be? I cannot hear a shred of skepticism in your blissfully ignorant speech. How can you be so foolishly & selfishly at peace? Your state of purity is naive & undermines... my grief.

Having perceived evils, wrongdoings & tragic experiences, some interpret that as a means to constantly be on-guard; never without preparation & in remembrance of the circumstances they’ve once encountered. As such, they may perceive being in a state of OPP, as counter-intuitive to that objective. They may perceive the OPP of others as incomprehensible, or perhaps, even be envious of it. They may feel like it is a state in which they can no longer have for themselves.

Perhaps, that’s why redemption seems so difficult a thing to obtain, or why peace of mind alludes those who were deemed unworthy — by themselves or others.

I think the wonders of being in a state of Optimism, Purity & Peace can give us the mindfulness to perceive a way out of the darkness. It can filter the toxicity of worldly evils on our mentality & allow us to move forward from our failures, or for harboring the failures of others. OPP allows us to witness with clarity potential benevolent realities, capable of being manifested by the aid of our design & contribution.

These are perhaps rather audacious & haughty statements. It is with greatly benevolent intentions that I write in the way that I do, while still in observance of the Duality we dance in & out of hypnotically.

To that extent, I beseech those who come across this reflection to glean meaning rather than naivety. To recognize the strengths of choosing Optimism, Purity & Peace; rather than perceiving their vulnerabilities as an uncompromisable detriment. I encourage you to dispel the belief that OPP should only be accessible to the righteous, or a select few, for allowing anyone with transgressions to cultivate a mindset of OPP could very well be the pathway out of all deconstructive evils; perhaps creating an avenue in which “constructive evils” could be born — as unfathomable as that sounds.

All the Best,
